Be full of Expectations by Dr Mike Okonkwo

Dearly beloved, when we started the fasting and prayers a few days ago, some people may have thought it was impossible to go through it, but just like yesterday, we are already in the second week. I want to encourage you not to relent, but keep pushing because indeed strangers shall submit. God is committed not only to hearing your prayers but also to ensuring that you have a testimony. This season, expect God’s supernatural intervention in your life. You will not be denied in Jesus name.

In 1 Chronicles 4, the Bible tells us an interesting story about a man called Jabez who was described as honourable. In-spite of his honour, his problem started when his mother bore him and gave him a name which literarily means ‘sorrow’. Beloved, Jabez understood what it meant to encounter closed doors in life. He was rejected by men, even though he had no hand in the circumstances of his birth. He was victimized by those who should have shown him love and given him succor. Everywhere Jabez went, sorrow went with him. Can you imagine how he felt? I perceive that his situation was so bad that everywhere he went he became a laughing stock. It was at this point he sought the face of God. Let us look at the scripture:

1 CHRONICLES 4:10

{KJV} ‘’And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine Hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested”. Beloved, let us see this same text in the Message Translation:

{MSG} ‘’Jabez prayed to the God of Israel: bless me, O bless me! Give me land, large tracts of land. And provide your personal protection – don’t let evil hurt me”. God gave him what he asked.

Worthy of note is the fact that Jabez desired God’s intervention in his life and that desire drove him to his knees. He desired a supernatural intervention. He had expectations of a better life. He needed a fresh start – a new beginning. He was tired of the status-quo and so he cried to the Lord. Beloved, just like Jabez, you have sought His face in fasting and prayers; get ready for the manifestation. Let me assure you that God heard you ever before you began to pray and He is already throwing His weight around on your behalf. Every request you have brought before Him this season has received His attention. See Him intervening in that long standing health condition. Beloved, don’t look at the symptoms, look at the healing. See Him intervening in your job, business, finances, academics and marriage.  Like Jabez, you will not go empty handed.

I declare that this season, the Lord will touch you in those areas where you have toiled and labored over the years. Every issue that has hitherto brought tears to your eyes would be resolved in Jesus’ name. God will exceed your expectations. This season will not end without your testimony. If God could intervene in the life of Jabez who was labeled ‘sorrow’ much more will He do for you this month and in the days ahead.  Remember that Jabez operated in the old covenant, and yet had such awesome results.

Can you begin to imagine what God would do for you – a new covenant believer? Listen to what Apostle Paul said in Romans 8:32: ‘’…He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?’’ Child of God, did you see that? If God could give His only begotten Son, then what else will He not give to you? Like I have always said and it bears repetition, when He gave you Jesus He gave you His best, and when He gave you the Holy Spirit, He gave you His all.

In the days ahead, I encourage you to approach the fast with a mindset that it has been done. What you are thanking Him for, is the manifestation. Don’t look at the symptoms, but rather stand on His promises because His word will never fail. Keep confessing the word over your life as you pray and refuse to doubt in your heart. Whenever your heart is besieged with the thoughts that you had prayed this same prayer point last year, understand that the devil is trying to sneak in doubt and unbelief into your mind, so give him no room.

Cast down that thought and superimpose it with what God has promised. Remember that as a man thinketh in his heart so is he. Refuse to dwell on what you felt did not happen last year, but rather thank Him for what you are expecting now. See it in your minds’ eye because expectation brings manifestation. You will not be denied in Jesus name.

As you go into this week, be assured that in every area of life, God is committed to blessing you. He will fill your mouth with testimonies. You will surely, without fail, testify. Your miracle will not be aborted. Maranatha!

Daily Confessions for Oct 11 – 18, 2015

I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins. He rose again triumphant over death, grave and hell. He is sitting at the right hand of the Father God from where He will come to take me home. I am glad that I am saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost. While I am waiting for Him, I will live my life here to please Him.

I will dwell in the secret place of the most High; I shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust. Surely He shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover me with his feathers, and under His wings shalt I trust: His truth shall be my shield and buckler.

I shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.  A thousand shall fall at my side, and ten thousand at my right hand; but it shall not come nigh me. Only with my eyes will I behold and see the reward of the wicked.

Because I have made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, my habitation; There shall no evil befall me, neither shall any plague come nigh my dwelling. For He shall give His angels charge over me, to keep me in all my ways. (Psalm 91:1-11)

I am a firm believer in the word of God; and I know that whatever the word cannot give me does not exist. And I do not need it. I stand boldly on the word of God and the word will produce in my life. Therefore, I am convinced beyond every shadow of doubt, that, every word of prophecy and every declaration that has been made over my life this year for good will come to pass. I live under an open heaven. I am an Overcomer (Jn 1:1-3; Heb. 1:3; Is. 44:24-26).

I am a follower of Christ; therefore I am committed to excellence in all I do. I am a diligent worker and I am dedicated to service in full understanding of God’s call upon my life. I achieve results because God prospers the works of my hands. (Job 37:23; Ps. 148:13; Ps. 150:2; Prov. 12:26).

I treat everyone that comes in contact with me with courtesy; I let the light of God shine through me because I am the extension of God to my world. Every day and in every way, I am getting better: spiritually, physically, financially, mentally, morally and in all my endeavours. (Prov. 4:18; Matt. 5:14; Jn 8:12; Jn 5:37; Jn 14:9; 1 Jn 4:17).

I am called for a purpose, I will fulfill purpose and I will arrive at God’s ordained destiny for my life. Nothing will cut me short. I will make a formidable impact in my world for the Kingdom.

Therefore I declare boldly that as I go about my assignment this week, favour will attend my ways. I attract favour anywhere I go.

It is my week of Abundance and Goodness

My week of Increase and overflow

My week of Opportunities and Achievements

My week of Restoration and Release

My week of Grace and Greater Glory

My week of Celebration

Evil shall bow before me; the wicked shall bow at my gate.

I am glad that I am saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost. While I am waiting for Him, I will live my life here to please Him.

The Lord shall hide me in the secret place of His presence from the plots of men; He shall keep me secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues. (Psalm 31:20). You are my hiding place; you shall preserve me from trouble; you shall surround me with songs of deliverance and keep me alive (Psalm 32:7, 41:2).

The name of the LORD is a strong tower: I have run into it and I am safe. (Proverbs 18:10). No weapon that is formed against me shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise up against me in judgment I condemn. This is my heritage as a servant of the LORD, and my righteousness is of the LORD. (Isaiah 54:17)

How precious is your loving kindness, O God! …I will put my trust under the shadow of your wings. (Psalm 36:7). For the LORD is my sun and shield: He gives me grace and glory: no good thing will He withhold from me because I walk uprightly. O LORD of hosts, I am blessed because I trusts in thee. (Psalm 84:11-12)

Receive what He has Done

2 Peter 1:3
‘’According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue.’’

Dearly beloved, as you continue in the fast, I come to remind you of a salient truth that whatever you need in life has already been provided for. In other words, God is not going to do for you or provide that which you need. He already did, therefore, do not approach this fast with the traditional mindset of asking God to do one thing or the other, but rather come to receive that which has already been done for you by Christ.

Let me re-iterate once again for emphasis what I said during the opening of the fast – God is already committed to you as a Believer and there is really nothing you can do to earn His love. He already loved you while you were still un-loveable. His love was not predicated on what you did or did not do, no, He just chose you by election. Let me share this scripture with you:

Ephesians 1:4-6
‘’According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love: having predestinated us into the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise and glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the beloved.’’ {KJV}

Beloved, did you see that? One major revelation of being accepted in the beloved is that you pre-existed this world. That means you were chosen before the foundation of the world was laid and you are without blame. Men may say you don’t qualify because you made a mistake, but God already loved and chose you before the foundation of the earth was laid and there is nothing anyone can do about it.

You were chosen in Him, and so if Christ is strong, rich, holy, healthy, then you are that also. If Christ cannot be sick, then you cannot be sick. When sickness shows up, stand upon His word that says by His stripes you were healed. Understand that you were healed before you became sick. You are the healed that the devil wants sick, so refuse it even when the symptoms are there. Receive the healing because it was paid for over two thousand years ago.

Child of God, by the same token, if you are His beloved according to the scriptures, then you are His favorite, the apple of His eye and His pet. That means He respects you, dots over you and is concerned about you. Because He loves you, He is favourably disposed towards you. He is ready to fight for you when you are backed up in a corner. Understand that He loves you with an eternal love, and cares for you. He already provided you with a house, job, car, wife, husband and family. Everything was paid for at Calvary. If He gave you His only begotten Son, why would He not also freely give you all things? With this at the back of your mind, go to Him in prayers as your loving Father without cringing or begging. You don’t beg for what God has promised, you just believe it and receive it by faith.

That is why from now henceforth, let more of your prayers be thanksgiving. You need to thank God for what He has done. Yes, you might not have it physically yet, but you are thanking Him because you know that His word has no margin for failure. Locate all the scriptures that deal with your issue and begin to declare His promises over your life. The scriptures say in 2 Corinthians 1: 20 ‘’for all the promises of God in Him are yea and Amen, unto the glory of God by us.’’ Beloved, don’t just mumble words, search the scriptures diligently and pull out every promise that God made to you and thank Him for it. When you thank Him, you are saying that you believe and because every word of God has a return ticket, you will receive the manifestation.

In the days ahead, I encourage you to give more time to prayer. Don’t just fast without praying. That would amount to hunger strike. Sit at the feet of Jesus and learn from Him. Don’t just talk to God in prayer, listen to Him too; that is the main thing in prayer. Receive instruction from His mouth and the things He will tell you will unlock the doors of your miracles. This month shall be for you the beginning of months, the Lord will take you from where you are and catapult you to where He wants you to be. His mercy will speak for you. All that the locust, the caterpillar, the palmerworm and the cankerworm have eaten will all be restored. The events happening around you might not look like it, but God is not looking for what looks like it, He is overriding the events to do what only Him can do.

As you go into this week, be assured that in every area of life, God is committed to blessing you. He will do for you what you cannot do for yourself. He will open your eyes to see the hidden treasure of secret places. He will fill your mouth with testimonies. You will surely, without fail, testify. I see strangers submitting to you. Your miracle will not be aborted. Maranatha!

Be Sober, Be Vigilant by Deacon Abiodun Adebisi

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. (1 Peter 5:8)

Watch the Labels
Whenever we go shopping and I keep off the ‘Rebel’ brand,  even my wife gives me that look that says it all, ‘Darling, aren’t you being unduly sentimental about these things?’ Nice products, no doubt, but I would not be adorned in a ‘Rebel’ outfit. The same goes for the ‘Criminal’ and ‘Animal’ labels. All very beautiful products…but there’s something about their names. The inscription (perhaps I’m “old school”) projects not just the product but also the person using it, and I would not like to be seen as a rebel, a criminal or an animal!

And I have seen more worrisome inscriptions on the streets of London. I’ve seen ‘Disturbed’, ‘Sons of Anarchy’  and ‘Kiss the Boys and Make Them Cry’ on some T-shirts and ‘Dirty Pig’ on some jumpers. My take is, if the inscription didn’t align with your thinking, you wouldn’t even buy the product, talk less adorn it with pride. What the scripture tells me is, “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…” (Proverbs 23:7).

For Christ’s sake, it’s a free world, and people are free to wear what they like! I agree. Just as they’re free to be identified as sons and daughters of God or as ‘sons of Belial’ and ‘daughters of Jezebel’ but all our choices have consequences – even our choice of food and drinks!

Perhaps we should also look at the names of some drinks. There’s a drink called ‘Hooligans’ and another called ‘Monster’. Perfectly legitimate. Freedom. Yes, people are free to identify with and be identified as hooligans and monsters, but not me.

William Shakespeare says in Romeo and Juliet: “What’s in a name? That which we call a rose, by any other name would smell as sweet.”

Not so with our God. Otherwise, Jesus Christ would not have been given a name that is above every other name; it’s the name at which every knee must bow (Philippians 2:9-11). The scripture says, “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).

Jacob had his name changed to Israel (Genesis 35:10). Similarly Abram had a name change and became Abraham (Genesis 17:5). Even now, anyone named Esubiyi (‘a child of the devil’) would like a name change to Oluwabiyi (‘a child of God’) – if they believe in God, that is. So there’s much in a name – from God’s perspective and from the perspective of those of us called by his name. (2 Chronicles 7:14).

Mind your Language
Why make so much fuss about such an “innocuous” thing as a product name? If that’s how you see it, wait until you see how language is adapting to sin so much so that it is obliterating it. Very soon, the word “sin” will no longer be found in the dictionary, or at best it would be classified as “archaic”. Adultery is fast becoming an outdated word. These days, the “cool” terms are “affair” and “fling”. Do you hear the word “promiscuity” any more? All you hear these days is “one night stand”.  A prostitute is now dignified with the title “call girl”, “scarlet woman”, “escort”, “working girl” or “business girl”.

And because it is now conventional for “partners” to move in and cohabit, you hardly hear the word “fornication” any more. Although God says, “flee fornication”, people do just the opposite as they tend to run towards it as if it is magnetic. Little wonder the scripture says, “…the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be” (Romans 8:7).

When last did you hear the word “stealing” used? These days, people “nick”; they don’t steal. So much for the “observance” of the commandment, “Thou shalt not steal!” (Exodus 20:15). Isn’t sin now being glorified? One of the strategies of the devil is to present sin as fun. Beloved, it is not. That’s why the scripture warns us not to be ignorant of the devil’s devices (2Corinthians 2:11).

“Sodomy” and “homosexuality” are fast disappearing from the vocabulary because they are considered stigmatising, in line with global “best practices” or political correctness! The “cool” term now is “sexual orientation” as if being “straight” and being “gay” are two sides of the same coin. Anyone who says homosexuals will not inherit the kingdom of God is straightaway branded homophobic. Not that homosexuals are keen on the kingdom though. But believers have a duty to let them know that God loves them and wants them to repent and make heaven.

Be sober, be vigilant
The devil is very crafty. He tries to control state apparatus by exploiting people’s obsession with greed and power to install them in strategic positions to do his bidding. Often he goes about it surreptitiously; but sometimes he does it brazenly. The “harmless” brand names, the use of chip and pin, regional currencies, the gradual progression toward a world currency and the drumbeats of a new world order  are examples of the surreptitious. With globalisation, it is possible to wreck the economy of “recalcitrant countries” and get them to tow the line. The world is truly under the ubiquitous eye of Big Brother as portrayed in George Orwell’s futuristic novel, Nineteen Eighty-Four.

The legalisation of homosexuality and demonisation of the people on the Lord’s side who oppose the practice is a brazen act. That’s why homosexuality is spreading worldwide like wildfire and the saints are being persecuted. The few countries which say No to the practice may be strangulated economically, financially or even militarily. Homosexuality may well become a state religion, but does that make it right? The state may rewrite the bible to expunge the “offensive” doctrines or ban it outright, but does that make the word of God in Matthew 24:35 that “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away” of no effect or invalidate Revelation 22:18-19?

I remember coming across a Facebook post to the effect that slavery, the holocaust and segregation were all legal, so the state should not be used as a metric for ethics. How so true! Let’s remember, “All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any” (1Corinthians 6:12).

Truly, the end time is here. It’s as if the devil is on the rampage, not sparing the church of God. There is aggressive recruitment of famous and beautiful celebrities, including ex-gospel singers, to sell their souls to the devil in order to lure youths into darkness (2 Corinthians 11:13-14; Matthew 24:24). The devil’s ministers have also infiltrated the house of God, parading themselves as agents of light, teaching heresy which is swallowed hook, line and sinker by the gullible as these ministers play on their ignorance. However, ignorance is no defence before God because He has made the truth available unto us that we may not perish (Hosea 4:6; John 8:32).

Believers are required to be vigilant. The scripture says, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour” (1Peter 5:8). This write-up has attempted to highlight some of his devices so that we will not be caught napping. We should always read between the lines and be sensitive in the spirit. We must present our bodies “a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God” (Romans 12:1), avoid “corrupt communication” and speak only that which edifies (Ephesians 4:29).

One thing we must know. The devil is not likely to appear with a husky voice wearing a mascara face with horns on his head any more. He now wears Prada. He is eloquent and soft-spoken and can easily sway crowds to his side. But his mission remains the same: “to steal, and to kill, and to destroy” (John 10:10). That’s why we need to put on the whole armour of God as highlighted in Ephesians 6:10-18. In spite of all that is going on all around us, we have responsibility to shine and beam the light of God to a dark world so that the world  may see our good works and glorify Our Heavenly Father (Matthew 5:16; Philippians 2:15).

The “roaring lion” may be on the prowl, but the Lion of the tribe of Judah is more than able to keep the sheep of his pasture (Psalm 100:3; John 10:27-30). We shall not fall prey in Jesus’ name.

Secret Formula For Solving Problems

“Yet man is born to trouble, as the sparks fly upward” – Job 5:7

Problems are natural, they are part of the package that becomes available to us as human beings from birth! Trouble is a birth package! One of the most important things you will need to learn if you want to make progress in life is how to solve problems. Problems are the exams of life, no tests, no triumphs, no examinations no promotions!

This is why you need to truly understand the content of this article. If you can master how to solve problems, you have mastered 50% of all you need to learn to get your life where you want it to be.

Let me warm you into this with a story – Once upon a time, a father tried so hard to read for his exams, but he was constantly distracted by his 5 year old son. The little boy had not had enough of his dad’s time and he was demanding for it. Asking him questions, enquiring about what he was reading, doing all it takes to be there.

The father, not wanting to destroy his son’s hope and enthusiasm decided to give him some work to do. He reached out for a magazine, found a page with the picture of the world, tore it up in pieces and gave it to the excited young boy to put together again. In his mind, if the he could get his son working on a problem that tough, he would get up to an hour to read, and the boy out of boredom would fall asleep. To his utter shock and amazement, the boy was back with the world completely and correctly re-arranged, in less than 4 minutes! How he did it, is how you will solve every problem you have as well!

The father quizzed you little boy, “How on earth did you get that done so fast?” The boy smiled at his father, and revealed the secret. He explained to this dad that he saw that at the back of the world map were fragments of the face of a man, and that by putting the man’s face back together, the world came back together. The boy by re-arranging the man, he re-arranged the world.

What are the lessons this 5 year old boy can teach us?

 1. How you see the Problem is the Problem! Now that statement may sound simple to you, it’s not! I say this with all sense of emphasis that whatever problem you face is really a problem because of the way you see it! All problems are perceived as they are, based on the lens through which we analyse them. The boy saw a human face which he could arrange; the father saw a world map which the son could never arrange. You need to change how you see your problems, look through the lens of universal eternal principles, and your position will be authentic.

 2. Don’t look for the world, look for the man! Your problem is not anybody else, your problem is you! Our problems with ourselves manifest in relating with others, but the root problems are with us! To fix the world, fix you! By focusing on our circle of influence, we expand our influence. Trust me, the problem is not how you see it, the problem is also not the other person, if you change, your energy will change, if your energy changes, the world and people around you will change!

I will praise the Lord with my whole heart and I will show forth all His marvelous works. I will be glad and rejoice in Him. I will sing praise to His name. (Psalm 9:1-2). I will build houses and live in them; I will not labour in vain or bring forth for trouble; I will live to eat the fruit of my labour and it shall be well with me. (Isaiah 65:21-23; Isaiah 3:10)

Behold, the Lord will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; He will make a way for me in the wilderness and cause rivers to flow in my desert. Isaiah 43:19. Steps To A Successful Business

Having interacted with many business moguls and professionals, both personally and business-wise, I realised one key trend in business failure. It is due to the fact that some of us don’t know how to maintain CONSISTENCY.
As I was studying my bible, I got a solution to that error from Genesis 1:26 and that is what I’m sharing today.

1. Be Fruitful
God was not just referring to making babies here but to be productive. Develop a product that is unique, you don’t have to re-invent the wheel. Identify what someone has done and try to do it better. In the process of doing that, God will give you a fresh revelation on how to make the product unique.

2.  Multiply
Multiply the product you produced over and over again.

3. Replenish
This means to distribute. You will become more successful in your business when you start distributing and networking with others. Days of solo runs are over, ensure you reach out to many.

4. Subdue
Control that part of the market that is yours. Am not talking about market monopoly here, rather master the market trend and offer the best competitive price.

Daily Confessions for Sept 13 – 20 2015

I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins. He rose again triumphant over death, grave and hell. He is sitting at the right hand of the Father God from where He will come to take me home. I am glad that I am saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost. While I am waiting for Him, I will live my life here to please Him.

The beauty of the Lord is upon me; the Lord will establish the work of my hands. I will lend unto nations and borrow from none. (Ps. 90:17; Deut 28:12). The Lord gives me the seed to sow and the bread to eat. He guides me continually; He satisfies my soul in drought, he makes my bones fat.

I am like a well-watered garden and like a spring of water whose waters fail not. (Is. 55:10; Is. 58:11) I will build houses and live in them; I will plant vineyards and eat the fruit of them. I will not build and another inhabits, I will not plant and another eats. I shall not labour in vain or bring forth for trouble. (Is. 65:21-23)

The Lord will cause my eyes to see the hidden riches in secret places; I will be sought after. (Is. 45:3). Grace will speak for me in every area of my life. Favour will over shadow me. Doors will be opened unto me and I will experience his unusual visitation. (Ex. 33:16; Ps. 84:11; Lk 1:26-56)

My body is the temple of the Holy Ghost. Therefore every disease germ and every virus that touches this body dies instantly in the name of Jesus. I have divine health. (1 Corinthians 6:19)

Everywhere I go this week, I carry the goodness of God

Because there is Power in the word of God

I Thank You All by Dr Mike Okonkwo

Matthew 10:41 (AMP)

‘’He who receives and welcomes and accepts a prophet because he is a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward, and he who receives and welcomes and accepts a righteous man because he is a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward.’’

I bring you greetings in the name that is above every other name, Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God and our soon coming King. First and foremost, I want to appreciate the Lord who has kept me alive and well to celebrate my 70th birthday. Indeed, God has been so good to me and there is really no way I can adequately express my appreciation for all He has done for me in life and Ministry. I owe all that I am to Him and Him alone.

To Him alone be all the glory. I also want to specially appreciate all TREM Pastors and their spouses, TREMites at home and in the Diaspora, members of the various planning committees, Departments, Groups and Ministering Arms, and every single person for the love showered on me during my birthday celebrations. I thank you all for the awesome support during the week long activities.

As I took out time to read your mails, tweets, facebook comments and cards, I was indeed overwhelmed by your wonderful thoughts, wishes and prayers.  My prayer is that God would bless you, show you a token for good and fill your mouth with testimonies. Beloved, as you have honoured me so will the Lord honor you.

Beloved, the news of my 70th birthday celebrations has indeed been noised abroad, and it is only because you made it happen. Little wonder Proverbs 14:28 says that ‘’the glory of a king is in the multitude of his people’’. I must thank you once again for your prayers, telephone text messages, birthday songs, and gifts. They all went to demonstrate the love you have for me and I do not take it lightly, neither do I take it for granted.

As a Prophet of God, I declare that you will not lose your reward in Jesus name. A prophet’s reward is your portion. Beloved, when your day comes, God will raise men and women to celebrate you. I declare that you will not labor for trouble. You will not be stranded. You will not be denied. Your heaven will remain open and your ground will continually produce. I have prayed and am still praying that every word of prophecy and every declaration that has been made over your life for good this year will come to pass in Jesus name.

My special thanks and appreciation also goes to my jewel of inestimable value – Bishop Peace. Every day, I thank God for bringing you into my life because, I know that I wouldn’t be where I am today if not for your love, prayers, support and care. You came into my life when I had no form, nor comeliness that anyone should desire me. Like I said last week during my vote of thanks, I probably would have been dead by now if God had not yoked you with me.

Having spent over forty years in Ministry, I can tell you that I have seen marriages collapse, but you have stood by me through thick and thin. Indeed you have been a true yokefellow. From the bottom of my heart, I want to say a big thank you for all you have done and would yet do. My prayer for you is that my God would bless you richly and increase you on all sides. As you have celebrated me, so will this generation and indeed humanity, celebrate you.

Beloved, as you go into this new week, as always, I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace, which is able to give you an inheritance among all them that are sanctified. I will hear your testimony. As a father in the house, I bless you. Once again I thank you all. Maranatha!

In His Royal Service,

Dr. Mike Okonkwo, The Presiding Bishop
